This Sunday, Oct 15, come help restore the much-loved (and lately, much-neglected) Laderan Tangke Trail in Marpi. This is a truly beautiful trail -- many, many groups of students, locals, and tourists have enjoyed Laderan Tangke's big native trees and unique wildlife. It has gotten overgrown lately, and just needs the kind of TLC that only energetic volunteers armed with bushcutters and machetes can give. =)
Meet at 8am, bring machetes, bushcutters, water, food -- anything you can share. And, of course, bring friends! Call Angelo at 483-1078 or Laura at 483-9453 for more information.
To get to Laderan Tangke, head north toward Marpi, take the right after La Fiesta, go up past the big blue water tank and keep going till you see a boonie road on your left lined with coconuts. Park outside the boonie road, and walk in.
