What better way to contribute toward a better environment than having a sumptuous dinner against a backdrop of live classic and pop music rolled into one? Such an experience will be happening this Saturday at the Aqua Resort Club when one of the foremost songwriters from Japan serenades the CNMI.

Ari Onishi, one of Japan's renowned singers and songwriters, will be on Saipan for a one-night dinner concert at the Raraina Restaurant of the Aqua Resort Club. Onishi will present her famous musical compositions as used by several TV programs, shows and movies.

ARC's Yoshimi Kodama said the Achugao hotel is very privileged to present this event to Saipan as it will not only provide harmonious music but also an excellent dinner, plus the chance to strike a blow for the environment.

Yoshimi said that proceeds of the concert would go the Beautify CNMI!, a non-profit environmental group in the CNMI.

"The group has been doing a wonderful job in the protection and cleanliness of the environment." Yoshimi said, adding that it is also the hotel's intention to help the community in attaining a cleaner and safer place to live.

Diners can expect an excellent gastronomic experience during the event. The menu will include Lemon and Pepper Cured Salmon Rolls with Asparagus Tips and Bellpepper Coulis, Lobster Bisque - Mousseline, Californian Catfish Fillets on Ratatouille, Sauce Rouille, Lime Sherbet and Vodka, Fillet of CAB Beef Tenderloin on Galette Potatoes, Rosemary Glace and Young Vegetables. Diners can also choose the Roast Mallard Duck Breast with Caramelized Ginger and Dark Cherries Wild Rice and Vegetables, and Chocolate Delice on Strawberry Sauce.

Doors to the dinner show will open at 6pm on Saturday. Dinner will be served at 6:30pm and the concert will begin at 8pm. Front seat with dinner is for $80 per person while regular seat with dinner is only $60. Yoshimi said that front seat tickets are being sold very quickly "so call us now for reservations!"

Yoshimi said ARC is also looking at extending Onishi's show until Sunday for a cocktail show where guests will just be charged for the food and drinks they order during the show.
