Companies stationed at JP Center (Saipan Tribune, L&T, CIC & Tan Holdings Support Team) gathered again for the 6th Adopt-A-Pavilion activity and to hold the month of August's birthday bash.
A total of 33 volunteers showed up as early as 6:30 a.m. and collected about 35 bags or approximately 536 kilos of trash from the coastal area/shorelines at the back of TSL Plaza, McDonald's, and Office of the Personnel Management on Saturday, August 28. To date, the team has already collected an estimated 125 bags or 1,868 kilos of trash since it started the project in March of this year.
Cecil Ramores of Tan Holdings said "We are committed to giving back to our community and look forward to continuing our drive through our monthly clean ups and pavilion rehabilitation project."

CTSI also had their regular monthly clean-up the same day at the Susupe Beach Park. The 17 volunteers were able to gather 68 bags or 618 kilos of trash.

Kilili Pavilion Gets a Make Over!
Date: May 22, 2010
Venue: Kililli Pavilion #1 (in front of Ada Gym)
Time: 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM
The clean up for May 2010 was conducted in partnership with First Hawaiian Bank employees as part of “Site Improvement” program of Saipan Chamber of Commerce for Corporate Challenge 2010. SCC assigned the Killili #1 Pavilion for us to do repaint & clean up on the adjacent grounds. We did the painting of the pavilion restoring the original color. We picked up trash and dried leaves/grass from the surroundings and we came up with a total of 85 bags.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED IN THIS AWESOME MAKE-OVER! Your actions, dedication, and volunteer spirit help make our community a better place to live. THANK YOU!!!

CTSI installs MINA recycling bin at Susupe Park
The trash bin was placed in an area adjacent to the park’s parking lot which is very accessible for the hauler in picking up the contents of the trash bin. Joven Cruz from CTSI and on behalf of Tan Holdings received the trash bin from Eric Cruz.
CTSI adopted Susupe Park last January 2009 taking the responsibility of cleaning the park once a month and protecting it from vandals writing graffiti on pavilions by occasional repainting.
