More Trees in the Ground!

This morning, which the help of MOVER, a local community group, and a few other community volunteers, we planted 11 more trees. There is now a Flame Tree every 30 feet along the beach side of Beach Road from Gold Beach Hotel to just south of the Garapan Fishing Base.

Next weekend we are going to plant coconut trees along the beach. I've set a goal of 100 trees. Now we just need to go out into the community and find the coconuts.

There is also a possibility that we will help RC&D, DEQ, and CRM with the Lao Lao revegetation project in the upcoming weeks. They have plans to plant over 600 trees in the Lao Lao watershed this rainy (green) season.
